Please note: I size the tenon of this neck to fit my personal Vito bass clarinet with a socket of exactly 26.0mm, however like with any other aftermarket neck you may have to have a tech resize the tenon to fit your particular instrument. The Leblanc L7168, Vito and Yamaha YCL-220 bass clarinets are some of the more popular student model bass clarinets out there. Despite this I’ve never been happy with the mouthpiece angle and the lack of a tuning slide. This neck aims to solve both of those problems. This neck features a tuning slide that provides 10+mm of adjustability, giving you a much greater degree of flexibility. It also features a more comfortable 45° mouthpiece angle.
This neck is made from a composite material chosen for its superior resonance compared to metal. The tuning slide is made from durable carbon fiber and the body tenon is made from brass.
