An easy and affordable way to play low C & C# on your low D Leblanc contrabass clarinet without sacrificing the tone and quality of any other note on your instrument. This extension simply fits between the lower joint and bell of your instrument and is controlled by your left wrist. If needed felt or cork risers can be added to the keys for comfort as well. Compared to stock Leblanc extensions the tone holes are a bit wider and undercut helping to improve the response of the low notes along with long clarion B. Will only fit the Leblanc 340 “Paperclip” contrabass clarinet with a range to low D.
