This accessory allows you to use a modern German bass clarinet mouthpiece on a French (Boehm system) bass clarinet in order to achieve a darker and more focused tone. Designed to tune well with Wurlitzer mouthpieces. Mouthpiece socket is 27.0mm, note that some older German mouthpieces from the first half of the 20th century are designed for a 26.0mm socket which can be made on custom order. Available in both black wood composite and plastic (black wood composite is shown.
