Finally an aftermarket neck for your Leblanc contrabass clarinet! These necks help solve a few problems:

  1. A modified bore helps improve intonation slightly in the upper clarion register.

  2. A water key allows you to quickly dispose of excess moisture without taking the neck off, a huge help as contras tend to produce quite a lot of condensation!

  3. You now have a choice of 3 different mouthpiece angles.

These necks are made from a wood composite material chosen for its superior resonance compared to solid metal and come standard with a solid brass tenon. The tenons on these necks are designed to fit most Leblanc professional model contrabass clarinets including the model 340, 342 and 345. For most instruments the neck should fit well, however note that due to variation between instruments, wear or past damage it may be necessary to have your neck fit to your specific instrument in some circumstances.

An M6x8mm threaded insert compatible with the PiezoBarrel pickup is also available (A plug will be included so you can use the neck with no pickup). You can also order your neck with a sleeve for a Rumberger K1X II.

This will NOT fit the Vito or the L7182 contrabass clarinet or the Leblanc or Vito contra alto clarinet.
