Make your alto clarinet significantly more easy to play with an adjustable floor peg! You can either order the peg assembly separately or have us install it. The peg is made from durable steel and features a nickel plated stainless steel screw for excellent stability and minimal slippage. The peg diameter is the same as most bass clarinets so you can also make use of custom pegs.
After you place your order you will be emailed a shipping address within 1-2 business days. From here you will need to package up your bell and mail it to our shop. We recommend using UPS with insurance. For packaging use a box that is at least 2” bigger than the bell on all sides. Wrap the bell with bubble wrap and use crumpled paper or packing peanuts to secure it in the box. After we receive your bell we will strip, clean and polish it and solder on the floor peg mount. With this service you are guaranteed a clean and even solder joint using high quality solder. Please note: we only stock nickel plated floor peg hardware, silver plating is available for an additional charge. After this the bell will be cleaned of flux and polished once more before being returned to you. A 15” peg is included which is generally long enough for most players, however longer pegs are available for an additional charge.
