Golden Era Buffet R13 A key clarinet, fully overhauled! No cracks!
For sale we have a lovely 1974 Buffet R13 A key clarinet. This clarinet has just been fully overhauled by Howard Woodwind Company, an authorized Buffet dealer. Chris used Valentino Master Series pads on the upper joint and a mix of Valentino and leather pads on the lower joint. This combination provides more durability than standard skin pads, meaning you will spend less time at the repair shop and more time enjoying your instrument. This instrument was made right at the height of Buffet’s golden era and has a level of fit and finish that’s hard to find these days. The wood is also of excellent quality and density and is free from cracks. The nickel plating is in good shape with only some minor wear. Cosmetically the instrument only shows minor dents, dings and scratches associated with careful use. Overall it is in very good condition for its age and is a very clean example of a Golden Era Buffet. The original case does show some wear but is structurally sound.
