Looking for an affordable yet high quality C clarinet? For sale we have an Amati Kraslice ACL 351 Series II C clarinet in excellent condition. This clarinet features a Grenadilla wood body with silver plated keys and plays well with a standard Bb clarinet mouthpiece. The Series II features design input from the legendary Dr. Omar Henderson (RIP) and has unique features such as a recessed bridge key arm and a specially designed bore to improve intonation. From the factory these horns come with skin pads, however this clarinet has just been fully serviced and repadded with much more durable leather pads. All leather pads were treated with lacquer, a traditional method used to make the pads more resistant to moisture and increase their lifespan. In addition to this, both body joints were stripped and oiled with natural almond oil, tone holes were leveled as needed, keys were hand polished and key corks were replaced as needed with materials such as tech cork and synthetic felt to improve durability and reduce noise respectively. The keys were also cleaned of old oil and fresh SynTek key oil (also developed by Dr. Henderson!) was applied. Finally keys were adjusted to ensure good ergonomics and an even tone throughout. Comes with the original case in excellent condition.
